Hi from Hang Gliding Competitions Inc.
We would like to acknowledge and thank all landowners for supporting our competition. This competition has a long tradition of fostering Hang Glider pilots that are new to competition.
It is the cooperation with the local communities that helps ensure the safety of pilots, and future of this competition.
In order to promote better rapport with you the land owner, we have asked our pilots to introduce themselves to whomever they meet in the 'landing paddock'.
You may have been given one of our 'landing cards' in person, or one may have been left at your door or in your mailbox.
It's an opportunity for you to find out more about us and to share any feedback you may have for us.
Hang Gliding is governed by the Sports Aviation Federation of Australia (SAFA) in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Regulations.
Hang Glider pilots, by law, are required to be trained, certified and current members of SAFA.

SAFA is required to hold aviation & public liability insurances for SAFA members, Regional Associations & clubs.
The insurance cover specifically provides indemnity for “owners of property or land being used for the insureds activities”
